Policies

Wedgwood Presbyterian Church
The church custodian sets up the meeting room prior to each meeting. Attendees are requested to fold and put away chairs at the end of the evening.

Handicap Access
There are stairs leading to the meeting room. An elevator is available to those in need. Please provide prior notice if you require assistance. Contact us.

Advertising
The Seattle Knitters Guild does not accept paid advertising of any sort for publication in the Cablegram or on the website.

Live Announcements
We discourage live announcements at Seattle Knitter’s Guild meetings in order to devote as much time as possible to regular business. Members are welcome to bring fiber-related printed material handouts for display at the entrance table.

Kids
Children who knit are welcome to accompany members to the meetings and events, but we appreciate considerate parental supervision.

Yarn Shop Membership
The Seattle Knitters Guild accepts the support of Local Yarn Shops through membership dues. Special shop events may be listed in the Cablegram.

Roster
The Membership Chair maintains a Roster of members which is mailed or emailed to all members twice a year. It is never published on the website. The Roster is to be used for networking within the Guild only, and is not to be used for commercial purposes.

Holiday Party Donations
The Seattle Knitters Guild solicits donations and purchases gift certificates from Local Yarn Shops each winter for the December holiday party.
